Parts purchasing and stock
Repair parts are purchased on the purchase bill, with category, brand and model where you use them. The parts list is the stock record: what you bought, what is on hand, and what has already been sold.
Categories keep panels, batteries and the rest of the shelf organised. Low-stock and parts-stock reports, plus category, brand, model and supplier views, show which parts are moving and which supplier they came from.
Selling parts
Parts can be sold on their own or with a phone. The sale stores the quantity, the cost and the price, and the stock quantity comes down. A repair counter that also sells accessories does not need a second billing book.
Shops that only do repairs, and shops that mix repairs with new and used phones, can both keep parts in KamboPro. It is mobile repair shop software for the parts side of the business, tied to the same customers and payments as the phones.
Parts and the accounts
A parts purchase still creates a supplier balance. A parts sale still creates a customer balance, including when the customer takes the part on credit. Payments, returns and adjustments follow the same rules as the rest of the shop.
Profit and the accounting reports include this trading. You are not left with a parts list that never reaches the ledger.
